Pressure equipment operation is classed as High Risk Work (HRW). A licence to perform HRW is part of a national system which authorises individuals to carry out particular classes of work including boiler operation The HRW licence has been incorporated into each state’s law.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process where skills and knowledge that you have gained through work and life experience and other unrecognised training can be formally recognised. Western Boiler Training provides a supportive approach to students wishing to take up this option.
